Itinerary
Welcome to the beautiful island of Bali! • Also known as the “Island of Gods and Goddesses”, Bali is a favorite among travelers because it has preserved the Hindu civilization of ancient Indonesia, with its rich traditions in healing, architecture, spirituality and music. • Arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. • Reception by our representative and local guides. • Transfer to Bagus Jati Hotel in Ubud - 1h 30min. Check in at the hotel and the rest of the day free to rest and recover from the long flight.
Breakfast included at the hotel. • We start the day and our wellness retreat in Bali with a hike in Tegalalang, the famous rice fields of Bali. We will walk for an hour through the rice terraces and our local guide will explain to us about the irrigation system that is common in Bali, known as subak. • Then we will return to Bagus Jati where we will live a Balinese Spiritual experience (Balinese ''Melukat'' purification ritual and blessing) with lunch included. • After lunch we will enjoy a 60-minute “Balinese” Massage at Bagus Jati. • Dinner included at the hotel and free afternoon.

Breakfast included at the hotel and check out. • We move to our next destination on the island of Bali, we go to Ubud, the heart of the island, where we can enjoy its markets, restaurants, the social and multicultural life of the island. • Check in at our hotel. • Then we will take a cooking class at the Taman Dukuh agricultural cooking school in Ubud. • We will have free time to share with the community, have a drink, play some music and flow with them in an organic and natural way. • Return to the hotel and free afternoon.
Breakfast included at the hotel. • Today we will leave early from the hotel to do one of the most meaningful activities on this trip, as you will be able to experience first-hand what the life of a Balinese is like and you will see how your trip helps many people in the community we will visit. • Our first stop will be at a school attended by children of approximately 7 years old, each class has around 30 children, who are very happy every time we visit them. We recommend that you first share with them and that the photo be something spontaneous that flows with the moment. All interaction with the children arises in the moment and depends on each one of us. Visit to the Tirta Empul Temple where we will perform a ritual of sanction and bath in the sacred waters. The Tirta Empul Temple is the water temple in Bali. The temple complex consists of a bathing structure or petirtaan, famous for its sacred spring water, where Balinese Hindus go for ritual purification. • Visit to Gunung Kawi: an 11th-century funerary complex that straddles the Pakerisan River. It consists of 10 rock-cut candi carved into protected niches 7 metres high in the steep cliff. • Lunch included • Consultation with a Balinese healer • Return to the hotel • Dinner on your own.

We will pass through small villages and incredible landscapes to take photos and discover more about life and the lesser-known landscapes of Bali. • We will make a stop in Bedugul, a place famous for its beauty and the three lakes that are in this area. Lake Bratan, located 1200 meters above sea level, is a volcanic lake surrounded by spectacular views. • We will visit the Ulun Danu Temple which is located on a small island on the distant shores of the lake. • Lunch included for the group. • We will continue with a visit to the Jatiluwih rice terraces, recognized by UNESCO as a cultural heritage of humanity. • Return to the hotel and free afternoon.
Breakfast included at the hotel and check out. • Transfer to the southern part of Bali: Uluwatu, one of the most beautiful areas, with cliffs, beautiful beaches and privileged views of the entire natural landscape of Bali. • Check in at our villas. • Free days at our Uluwatu villa to enjoy the facilities of our beautiful hotel. • Night at the hotel.
Breakfast included at the hotel. • Pick-up for transfer to Uluwatu (1h 45min). • Arrival at the hotel and check-in. • In the afternoon, we will visit the Uluwatu Temple, located on the edge of a cliff 95 meters above sea level with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. This temple is the work of the Nirartha master, a 16th century priest. From the temple you can see a spectacular sunset over the ocean, surrounded by small fishing boats (Jukung). • At the temple we will see a performance of the Kechak monkey dance at sunset. This show is accompanied by a male choir of more than 70 people. The play symbolizes the eternal story of Rama Yana, the Hindu version of Romeo and Juliet. • Then, transfer to Jimbaran for the included seafood dinner.
