Itinerary

Arrive in Kochi, the most cosmopolitan city in Kerala. On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel. Kochi, also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Beginning with the Dutch, Portuguese and the British, Kochi was the site of the first European colonial settlements in India. Overnight at hotel

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Kochi, visiting the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Cochin Fort, St. Francis Church and the Chinese Fishing Nets. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure at Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

This morning, drive to Munnar, one of the most popular hill resorts in southern India. Under British rule, Munnar was popularly called 'Switzerland of India' for its natural surroundings and cool climate. The entire area is occupied by thick forests and tea plantations. The specialty of Munnar jungle is honey, tea and a rare flower 'Neela Kurunji' which blooms once in 12 years. On arrival in Munnar, check-in to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we will visit a unique welfare initiative in Munnar, which focuses on enhancing the hidden talents of differently-abled children, most of whom come from local tea-picking families in Munnar. Here we see three projects that aim to equip disabled children to secure a better future: a special education centre, a natural fabric dyeing and printing project and a unit dedicated to making paper and handmade paper products. The products made by these children are sold in a small shop near the workshops and exported to Japan and Europe. A visit to this unique initiative reiterates how enthusiasm is a sign of spiritual health and imperfections are what make you beautiful! This afternoon, we will visit a local tea plantation and the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the cultivation and making of a variety of Indian teas. Overnight at hotel

After breakfast, drive to Periyar, the wildlife and spice plantation hub of Kerala. On arrival at Periyar, check in to your hotel. This afternoon, visit the spice plantations and learn about the mystery and history of Indian spices. You will also have the opportunity to shop for fragrant spices at a local market. Overnight at hotel

This morning, drive to Jodhpur, a city surrounded by high stone walls with seven gates and several bastions. This second largest city in Rajasthan was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check in to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

This morning, visit one of Asia's largest freshwater lakes spread out in the land of green magic, Kerala. Vembanad Kayal, as it is called in the regional language, acts as a giant reservoir, a buffer tank against flooding, and a very important ecological resource, which has conditioned the flora, fauna and lifestyles of the people living on its shores. Its forested banks, chirping birds, fishermen with large palm hats, and shallow edges, where women dip up to their necks in the water in search of the shy but tasty Karimeen fish, will tempt you to explore further. The boats that sail on the Vembanad differ from large stitched-hulled, cargo boats with dome-shaped mat-roofs to houseboats. Return to hotel and overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam, one of the most peaceful and beautiful beaches in South India. Enjoy a day at leisure, pampering yourself with the various Ayurveda and Spa treatments offered by your resort in Kovalam. Overnight at the hotel

The beautiful beaches of Kovalam are still far from being commercialized or overcrowded with tourists. Today, enjoy a free day to relax and unwind on the peaceful beaches of Kovalam or enjoy the facilities offered by your hotel. Overnight at hotel
